Amped 3 is a snowboarding game released in 2005 as a launch title for the Xbox 360. It goes in a completely different direction than the previous games in the Amped series, with much more arcadey mechanics and a wild, wacky, irreverent tone to its story and especially its cutscenes. The most memorable thing about Amped 3 has to be its insane cutscenes that span a bunch of different animation styles that you just have to see to believe.

Along with snowboarding, Amped 3 introduces a ton of additional features and things to do, like sledding, snowmobiling, and hang gliding, that get their own specific challenge types as well. Also, the game introduces several concepts to the action sports landscape, like the 'open-world' mountain ranges and challenge locations, as well as the 'build editor' where you can spawn objects on the mountain to make your own custom opportunities.

And of course, just like both previous Amped games, the massive soundtrack has over 300 songs to ride to, from hip-hop to electronica, hardcore to emo, with so many undiscovered gems of bands that you would not have heard of otherwise.
