32Review and longplay / walkthrough for "Kong's Revenge" on the Amstrad CPC!
This is an unofficial and unlicensed Donkey Kong sequel released by a little Spanish software company Zigurat in the early 90's, which also found it's way to the Speccy, MSX and PC (but no C64 version! tee hee!) - and is pretty cool! The game is split into two distinct sections, with the first being a more traditional Donkey Kong style but this time split into several screens worth of action that scrolls vertically upwards over 5 levels; and the second section being a run 'n' gun style where you have to shoot and kill Kong! Actually the 2nd section ends up being more fun than the frustrating and overly difficult first section - which suffers from poor jumping mechanics and laggy controls.
