Why Retro Game Gauntlet?
I've wanted to try out most of the games on Amstrad CPC 464, which I did own as a kid, with only a handful of games. All games will be streamed on my Twitch channel - https://www.twitch.tv/mael_lp
How many games?
Wikipedia states 1,799! I assume half of them will be playable for me!
How does it work?
I have a list of games, added as "GameBoy / GBC" games (there is no Amstrad in the tool). I roll/randomize the game and follow a set of rules
Amstrad CPC Retro Game Gauntlet rules:
- Streamer must suffer
- Streamer must roll on stream for every game
- game AND streamer must be visible to the audience when playing (NO FORGETTING ABOUT CHANGING views!)
- If game is unplayable for any of below reasons, streamer MAY flush* the game and move to next game roll
- Potential games to skip (list may expand as we find more RUBBISH)
-] no NSFW games
-] no text games
-] no non-English games that cannot be played if it requires reading ability!
-] no duplicates of the same game
- If game is decently playable, streamer MUST play:
-] at least a single stage
OR
-] at least 10 minutes
(Streamer holds full rights to amend above rules)!!
*flush - Flush this sh*t down the toilet!
Don't forget to like & sub!
I've got my own Discord server, so feel free to join and lurk around!
