Circadian Dice is a fantastic and fun take on a Roguelike Dice builder. I explain what you can do in this game in the following two paragraphs, so read on only if you want to know. Otherwise, know this is an excellent game with many great features to boot.

You can change the faces of the dice to what you want by buying faces at the shop, but they only take into effect on your next roll. When you re-roll, all dice will be re-roll, so there is no locking dice as far as I know. There may be a way, but I have not unlocked it if there is. Each die will have 6 faces with different things they do; for example, the shield blocks 2 damage taken. There are abilities that do unique things like healing, but they cost gems and have limited use so use them sparingly. As you complete runs, you will get stars a max of 5 per character that will unlock new areas with a new set of enemies, different heroes with different playstyles each, more relics and relic slots that will help you out during runs, and die powers that are used in every new run after you unlock them; for example, the chain will double the face of the die that have chains if you roll two or more chains.

I recommend reading what the enemies do by hovering over them because they may not hurt you they may raise your fear or lower max health instead. Fear is a status effect that is applied to you for the remainder of the enemies after the last turn of the wave. Each run has a set number of waves with a set number of turns per wave. During boss waves, you need to kill the boss before the end of the last turn, or you will lose the run. You will start with 2 dice and get up to 4 as you get XP and level up. There is an attack multiplier number that dice can add to, which is removed at the end of the turn. Attack multiplier does what it sounds; it attacks for the multiplier multiplied by the attack shown on the dice face. One of the most remarkable features is the capture ability, in which you capture enemies into dice. When caught, they will give you a bonus and can do damage to the enemies if a tooth dice's face is rolled.

There are many more features and cool these, but this is all I can think of right now. Overall, this is a great game, and I love that it explains everything in-game. This game is also very cheap at $6 full price, which is well worth it for what you get.

Side Note:

I know I was covering the shop and lower left of the first dice, but I felt everything else was more important.

Circadian Dice is a game inspired by single-player deck-building games, but instead of upgrading a deck, you build up a set of dice! Use 10 different heroes and 60 game-warping relics to take on 13 hand-crafted scenarios, in runs that take 10-30 minutes. Lots of secrets and unlocks to discover!
