An AMIGA DOOM Clone That Runs FAST! (Citadel Remonstered, Ami/Evercade) [+side-by-side comparisons]
118Citadel Remonstered is an updated version of Citadel, a first-person shooter/Doom clone for Amiga. Contrary to most Amiga FPS games like Gloom or Alien Breed 3D, it works on the OCS/ECS (Amiga 500, Amiga 600). Citadel Remonstered delivers a huge performance and visual boost, making it probably the fastest Amiga Doom/Wolfenstein 3D clone at the moment. Citadel Remonstered is also available for TheA500Mini for free and also as a commercial cartridge release for Evercade. In this video, I’m reviewing the updated version, including the performance, gameplay, and level design changes. I’m also comparing them side-by-side to highlight the differences in framerate and graphics.
