An awesome budget keyboard made even better - The Royal Kludge RK84 upgraded with Novelkeys creams
347In this video I'm unboxing and upgrading the Royal Kludge RK84 with different switches, lube and a new keycap set.
Here I'm using the keyboard with brown switches, then upgrading to lubed Kailh Novelkeys Cream switches. I didn't have enough, so the top rows also have Kailh box Jades and ZEAL Rosélios Sakurios and Tealios v2s.

This keyboard rocks some cool specs including offering Bluetooth, Wireless and USB-C connectivity. It has RGB lighting and is hot swappable with the ability to take on 3 or 5 pin switches, so should work with all sorts of keyswitches.

This kit includes a variety of Kailh box switches which you can use to test and see which ones you like. Obviously there are other options available too. But this is a good way to work out which switches you want to use.
