This is a review of the Drop + Sennheiser PC38X gaming headset, which I honestly didn't think was going to be up to much when I first got it out of the box, but turned out to be a really awesome bit of kit. I tested this headset on PC and the voice over for this video was recorded using the mic.

Highlights of the Drop + Sennheiser PC38X include:
Large and comfortable earcups with a choice of easy install cushions
Super large headband that's nicely extendable and should fit many heads
Excellent mic capture quality
Good bass response and audio range for all things
Good positional audio considering there's no virtual surround sound
Simple design
Long 3.5mm cable with two options - single and dual 3.5mm
Removable cable that doesn't snag or tug

Low lights:
Mic proved quiet and I need to up the gain for the voice over
Feels very plastic and cheap in the hand, but not on the head
