Solin takes a quick look at newly released FTL: Faster Than Light, a game so in demand that the kickstarter goal was exceeded by 2000%! FTL is a starship simulator. No, not a Star Fighter sim, a Starship sim. The difference? You don't go dogfighting, you don't even really control the ship so much as the crew within the ship.

Solin plays for just under an hour so that you get to see what the game is like from the perspective of someone who has never played the game before. And yes, Solin sucks at this game, all laugh at his failure as a gamer.

But an idea has come from this for Solin to post an attempt to save the Federation once a week. Maybe he can manage it?
