After unsuccesfully searching numerous times for a simple, comprehensive tutorial on how to setup Minecraft with custom textures, I decided to piece together a few tutorial tips and consolidate them into a simple, easy-to-understand method for people like me who don't learn too good.

I am next thing to a noob to Minecraft, and even more-so when it comes to modding and customizing, so I hope this tutorial isn't too misinforming or off-base in some way; my initial tests have shown to be successful, so hopefully that's a good sign. If nothing else, it'll hopefully serve as a reference for my own flawed endeavors. :)
