Qualcomm has made a number of optimizations to the web experience on Android and committed code both to WebKit, V8, and the overall Android network stack.

Improved browsing smoothness and zoom fluidity due to inclusion of a backing store in Android 2.3 optimized for the Adreno GPU (Android 3.0 has a backing store as well).

Improved V8 javascript performance due to better optimization both for Scorpion architecture, including the deeper pipeline and 128 wide NEON.
