Animal Crossing New Leaf: Catching a Scorpion (Works the same with Tarantulas)
Like, comment and subscribe! (It really helps!)
EDIT: This video was made BEFORE the game came out in English, hence I thought it was like City Folk.
Any comments saying "oh man its so easy to catch" or anything similar will be deleted -_-
This video shows my attempts (with the endings for them being rather stupid) and my successful catch of a Scorpian in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
Tarantulas can be caught between 7 pm and 4 am June-August
Scorpions can be caught between 7 pm and 4 am July-September
I HIGHLY recommend NOT trying to catch a Scorpion in September because Autumn is the worst time to catch rare bugs, crickets come out and make it MUCH harder to catch things since a lot of them spawn in.
As you can see, they made it a lot easier to actually catch the Scorpions/Tarantulas than I thought. You can have the net out and stalk them, just do NOT Agitate them too much when you stalk or... you may regret it. Also, if they start going crazy (like running everywhere) DO NOT TAKE YOUR NET OUT UNLESS YOU THINK YOU CAN CATCH A RUSHING SCORPION/TARANTULA. They WILL attack you if you do so.
... they respawn randomly as well because between the 3rd and 4th attempt it took over an hour to find another one.
So, I hope this video helps or relieves (lol) some people into knowing how to catch a Scorpion/Tarantula.
Also....... as you can tell both the Scorpians AND Tarantulas LOVE to suicide before they even see you... -_-
