I've used Animated Cursors extensively in my Survivor Squad Games

We're going to start off with some basic RTS controls for controlling our character.
Then using Cursor.SetCursor(); we're going to modify the OS Cursor to a custom texture.
After that we apply some logic to constantly change the Texture in order to animate the Cursor.
And finally we expand upon it adding an Enum for various CursorTypes and swap between them in real-time.
