Today (wednesday 26th January 2022) Twitch opened the ability for all Partners and Twitch Affiliates to get access to an additional 5 free "ANIMATED" emotes as a benefit for your loyal subscribers.
i really hope i can help a few people with their projects. and i will answer questions in the comments!.
In this video i will display a few techniques/ tips and tricks that i personally use when designing my own emotes. this also can help you overcome issues with transparency, cutting down frame numbers and filesize along side optimising the animation, mostly with free programs or similar programs of your choice.
the twitch file requirements are as follows
- Be a square shaped .gif
- Have a maximum file size of 1MB
- Be of resolution between 112 x 112px and 4096 x 4096px
- Cannot contain more than 60 frames
