My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review.
In this episode get to indulge my love of Japanese Animation with Anno Mutationem, the Anime Style Sci Fi Metroidvania RPG.
Anno is the breakout title for Chinese Developer Thinking Stars. The game takes heavy inspiration from landmark anime Ghost In the Shell
with some of the development team having worked on the series.
Anno follows the adventures of Anne Flores, Part Time Detective, Part Time Bartender and Full Time Fighter as she explores a Dystopian City
full of deadly mutants, giant mechs and a shadowy criminal organisation after her blood as she searches for her brother who has gone missing under suspicious circumstances.
This latest chapter in the Far Series returns the player to a world that has been devastated by an unknown natural disaster.
I wanted to try the game despite the negative reviews on steam. Despite some issues with translation and story pacing, personally i did enjoy the game

A grand story, befitting a rich and dark cyberpunk décor, featuring our main hero Ann Flores and her trusty hyper hacker side-kick Ayane on a personal mission to find out where her missing brother has gone to. Little do the two know just what they will unravel…
Please arm yourself to teeth
Collect, buy or craft items & upgrade Ann's stats, skills and gear. Use chips to modify any kind of weapon you find. Equip Ann and make her combat-ready for all enemies (both humanoid and not…) that are about to head her way.
