To recap what was said in the video:
- You need to be able to record your own footage (HD quality is preferable, but decently-rendered SD quality is fine)
- You need experience with the whole playthrough/commentary schtick. I.E You need to know how to edit correctly (i.e. removing deaths, trimming blank footage etc., audio balancing etc.)
You also need a grasp on what's right and wrong in regards to commentary etiquette. For example, being an obnoxious, meme-spouting twat who thinks Chuck Norris jokes are the height of comedy will definitely make you lose out on a place.
- Male or female doesn't matter, just make sure above the age of 13 (as per the Youtube guidelines obviously). Or, if you're 13, as long as you're extremely mature for your age that'll do fine.
Got it? Good. Now, record about a minute's worth of footage and commentate over it. Live or post commentary, doesn't matter. Then, upload it to your YT channel and post it as a video response here (for reference, click the comment box and the video response option will appear).
