Links & Chapters below! Played in DSDA-Doom blind on Ultraviolence with pistol starts and no saves. I'm continuing to play through this excellent vanilla Doom megawad by valkiriforce, now available for download as an official add-on to the Bethesda port of Doom 2! This time I played through an awesome secret level called When in Romero, a loving tribute to the original Knee Deep in the Dead shareware episode for Doom 1. It has a classic Episode 1 aesthetic and a lot of areas that are almost but not quite the same as all those iconic locations, but in one big, fun map. Once I got back to the main levels I made it through a Wrecking Base, a Rebel Keep that actually offered some stiff resistance, and a Sunset Villa where I'd like to think doomguy stopped for a few drinks around the pool after eliminating all demonic resistance in the area.
