Another Eden - Astral Archive Book of Flame Lord Challenge with Water Team
Skipped ahead because I'm so behind in Astral Archive and I spent too much time trying to fix a certain emulator *cough BS cough*.
And bleh. This needed a lot of retries before I settled with this. Originally I was getting 230 mil score and I redid that many times with slight alterations to no avail, so I decided to just bite the bullet and give some shadow hammers to ES Toova to fit +50% critical damage. That's why you see those Slash Down or Type Res down here and there - that's me trying to see if I can squeeze some more damage out. In hindsight, I forgot to use Limil's Charge Skill so that probably would have done it but ehhhhhhhhhhhhhh it's ok. I like Toova anyway, and the only other person I would consider spending shadow hammer on is like... Prai? He's already at 120 though. I would have made Elseal to 80 Light in a heartbeat and that too would have sealed the deal (or really anyone for extra buff or debuff or badge on damage dealers), but I don't have enough Light Swords or others to do that. One day. Maybe. I should also note that I initially tried this with Slash Zone leading into Water Zone to activate Limil's Aura (extra 20% slash damage) with Zeviro in front (which is why you see him there as grasta mule.. and his dread stack too) but ES Toova's crit dmg is easier and I don't use up a grasta slot.
Aside from that, the RNG points:
1) Turn 1: someone dying. Too many hits on a single unit will result in death.
2) Turn 3: Elseal getting bounced back. Cyclone Wind Protection from ES Toova is only for Shadow allies, which Elseal is not. I thought about using Nona AS VC but then the AF gauge gain gets annoying. That isn't impossible with the use of Sidekicks, but I wanted to keep Uquaji for additional HP healing capabilities to ensure that I benefit from Max HP as much as possible.
3) Also Turn 3, depending on how turn 1 went, someone can still die to the damage. I could compensate this by taking small damage loss and using Phasma Beata on Turn 2 or Turn 3 to get the barrier back (+ Eagle Eye on Turn 3, so the loss isn't that big), but this rotation reflects my desperation without 80 Shadow ES Toova.
I think that's about it? Some other intricacies are like Elpis for Ilulu Alter because she doesn't have guaranteed crit on everything, Mujima being better because of weakness damage starting Turn 4 and 5 so it makes up for the lower damage from Turn 1~3... Hismena Alter probably could have used diff. grasta enhancements.... Honestly I probably could have adjusted more but I already spent an over an hour trying this over and over. That's enough time on one boss I think. The latest two water units would make this so much easier hahaha (ES Felmina, Dunarith Alter).
