I wanna preface this by stating that I’m quite the cautious player so I tend to play things safe. I hate losing items and tend not to advance if I have doubts that I’ll be able to clear, so this was like my 5th or 6th run, but it’s my first floor 20 clear. 

Strategy leading up to floor 20:
- I fought every single enemy starting from the very first floor. I found a Rapid Growth II Rune in the early floors and immediately slapped it on Suzette so she could gain as many levels ASAP so that I could quickly power through the enemies. I got another Rapid Growth II run much later and slapped that on my Support unit.
- I used an AF centric strat to clear mobs.
- I kept a Vow of Invincibility II + 5 from my previous run so I used an AF centric strategy to clear all the mobs. I was able to find enough VoI by floor 10 so that I could get 50% AF. This also allowed me to get basically every “shiny” googly eyed rock enemies (I cannot remember their names for the life of me) that drops a ton of exp/Azure Flares (green/purple respectively). 
- I stalled floors 9-11 enemies to get the more powerful runes to drop from the shelled enemies. 
- Before every boss, I swap out the Vow of Invincibility Runes and Rapid Growth Runes for either more offensive or defensive runes, depending on the unit.
- I saved all my Second Sight Orbs for the later floors, which let me grab everything and plan my steps ahead of time. I winded up getting more than I could use.
- I lucked out and found the elderly man that upgrades your runes on floor 19, so after clearing out the map, I started swapped out the Rapid Growth and VoI runes, and used them as mats to upgrade the runes I used for the boss (except for the Vow of Invincibility III + 5 since I was going to register that for the next runs).

Personally, I like running TEC/ATK/DEF/SUP teams. Support helps with keeping my team alive, as well as Crit buffing or applying break. DEF is great for bosses with their ability to inflict rage and give shielding and debuffs on the enemies, which helps with stall tactics. TEC helps with buffing my team and doing things like applying pain and poison. I also like slapping the runes that can inflict debuffs on them too for extra safety. (I really like safety, can you guys tell LOL). And ATK because DPS. I just feel like there’s too much RNG involved with trying to get proper MAG runes to drop to bring a MAG unit.
