The new AOC K1S projector with a maximum brightness of 2500 CVIA lumens has been released in China.
The AOC K1S outputs high-definition 1080p images, supports HDR10+ and HLG for high-dynamic-range video decoding. It also supports ALPD laser display technology and its brightness of 2500 CVIA lumens is equivalent to 4500 ANSI lumens.
The projector is capable of displaying 1.07 billion colors and has a built-in sound system consisting of two 12-watt speakers with large-diameter magnetic diaphragms. The sound system was jointly developed by AOC and Devialet.
AOC K1S has smart features for continuous content projection. It is equipped with TOF and CMOS modules, supports autofocus, automatic correction in all directions and intelligent brightness control. The projector is able to automatically level the screen and intelligently avoid obstacles on the screen.
It received the MT9669 chip, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of built-in memory, HDMI 2.1, WiFi 6, supports global MEMC motion compensation and has a projection ratio of 1.27:1. The projector is capable of projecting an image up to 150 inches in size, and the operating noise level is 26 dB.
The AOC K1S projector is currently on sale for 4,999 yuan ($683).
