0Okay, but really, Orange is such a bad color in AoE 2 when you're trying to find your own things on the minimap.
Overall, this has been a surprisingly consistent campaign in terms of difficulty. A few hiccups here and there, but overall a solid 1 sword campaign to play through. Not a fan of them teasing Imperial Age Tatars into Castle Age Hindustanis for the first 2 levels, and level 3 was also kind of a snoozefest, but overall a very competent campaign. Qutlugh was fun while she lasted, and Ghulams are a pretty Jack of All Trades unit, despite their low hp. Didn't really care for the narrative, but we at least get a few callbacks to previous campaigns like Tamerlane and Genghis Khan. Overall, I'd still give it a 7/10(like Qutlughs armor stats, dang).
As for this level, it's fairly large scale for the campaign, but relatively straightforward. The village allies don't do too much for you outside of giving tribute, but if you're macroing well enough it's basically a small trickle that doesn't do too much. Lots of angles to attack and be attacked from and a bit of a step up difficulty wise with the enemy attacks, but your allies can definitely alleviate some of the pain so you can focus on macroing early on. There's no shortage of resources between the easy trade and stone mines. Definitely more thrilling than the rest of the campaign, that's for sure.
