Aoi Tori is a visual novel that appears to explore some very adult themes. While these themes are explored across each route, it really fails to capitalize on the tone, often trying to appease the reader with overused story beats and heavy-handed explanations of events. There's also a lack of quality routes, making me think the main heroine should have been Mary. Still, I appreciated the mature themes and high-quality presentation overall.
