Leave at least a 2inch Gap from the card to the side panel if in riser position. At 1 inch and 60% fans it was at 85c plus. I put 88-90c on video because if I had left it I'm sure it would have gone up as it was not getting enough air... So I quickly stopped testing and moved the GPU riser another inch back at my case limit due to cables. At 2 inchs 85c was the Highest during testing at 60% fans. Your miles may vary... 1inch to 2inches makes a huge diff on thermals and air intake. I wish I could have gotten back to 3inchs from glass panel but my case wont let me due to cables on some specific stuff I need..

Heaven Benchmark @1080p Extreme Loop
30min each fan speed

The problem is the middle fan it needs to get enough air to cool and at high fan setting. This GPU after all the testing shows that anything under 80% fans it will be too HOT because of that middle fan and at 1inch from panel it simply cant get enough air to do anything as why the height temps happened fast

This test is for the Thermaltake P5 case on everything Air. Your miles will vary. I would set fans to high profile or aggressive. It seems that this GPU's problem is the middle fan. It needs to spin fast to cool better and help out the other fans.
From 60% to 80% is a massive decrease in temps. About 14c. At 80% to 100% fans it decreases 7c. Add the 1 small fan and it decreases another 3-5c depending.

If you are having trouble with the Aorus software not installing correctly. Don't update from the GPU options. Go to the Aorus website and install the firmware first then all the software after that. I think there is an update for the update.. lol At least when I did it it was showing that way.. weird. Also running afterburner/riva tuner/filmora/Aorus Engine might conflict with the RGB at least I have trouble with that currently. But hopefully update after update it will resolve itself. I have these problems maybe because of my specific set up? your miles may vary.
