Greeting fellow test subjects.
Test Subject 1337 here for Aperture Gaming. They make it, we test it, you play it. It's time to Blow Off Some Steam with A BOSS Review. Today, I review Palworld. This title was recently released as an Early Access, but I found it to be enjoyable.

Now, when first looked at, everyone thinks the game is just, "Pokemon, but with firearms." But it offers more than just that. It offers elements of Minecraft, Survival Games, and a bit of ZELDA Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. The studio behind this game, Pocketpair, has also made a previous game of similar look called Craftopia.

After you name your realm, your character, and what they look like, you get to start exploring, either in single player or multiplayer, the world in an effort to try and capture and tame the Pals. The game has a good look, and aside from one odd texture issue I saw on a mountain, it looks great. You get to hunt, catch and tame the Pals. You also get to forage and cook food, and build a structure, along with other devices you need to survive.

The game is mixed in both good and bad.
The Good- Sold A LOT of copies on day one.... In fact, It sold as many copies in the same timespan as when Spider-Man 2 first came out. And It's fun to play,

The bad is that Nintendo is aware of the game, and some people are talking about the comparison of some of the pals to the Pokemon. In fact, some mods have been created that replace the Pals with Pokemon. This has caused Nintendo to issue a DCMA. This more bad news is because some people have actually issued death threats to the company... My hope is that since this is a fun game, I hope whatever issues they have can be resolved peacefully. There have been other Pokemon clones in the past. Cassette Beast (Also on Steam, I may have to check out), Yo Kai, Temtem (I HONESTLY haven't heard of this one), and the original duplicator: Digimon. ;)

As it is early access, the game can let you report issues. I have encountered a few hiccups here and there, but I haven't had any game breaking issues, thankfully.

I give it a 10 out of 10.
