Most likely you're going too need a certain program to open it with on your DS. Don't worry, it's very simple. Just click it, then when it's loaded, use it to select your game. So, get that here:

So here is Aperture Science, the homebrew port of the game Portal. Honestly, I don't know why this was never officially a thing. It's something right up Nintendo's alley, really. Well, now it is a thing, so long as you have a flash kart like an R4 or something. It's really quite fun, and can be very challenging. Some of the maps are more or less ones you'd find in Portal, while others are ones that are completely new. 14 maps to choose from, and plus a world editor that allows you to make your own. And what a world editor! For the DS, it's very impressive. The world editor even allows for bigger maps than Portal 2 allows for! It's great! Considering this thing only has like, what, 4 MB of ram and no GPU at all, I'd say that this is very impressive. It runs smooth and is very playable. Being a homebrew it's not as polished, so don't expect perfection. There's still some bugs and other things, but overall it's pretty damn good.
