So I took Valkyrie out into the firing range only to learn something about apex and gun mechanics. There isn't a real range falloff and the mastiff is no exception even at over 400 m I still couldn't get shots that did less than 11 damage steady. Apex literally doesn't have damage fall off and from what I can tell there isn't a distance where you can't hit something if you're a good enough shot.
