Things get more bizarre in this case when Payne uses the assault on Apollo to try and pin more guilt on Juniper when we literally saw her in love with Apollo just the previous day in trial. When I first played this game I also wondered why they did the bloody writing on the ground so soon when we just had that in the case with Romein LeTouse. It was even another identifying number in the case but this time it was turned into 'WOODS'. But we eventually point to the truth that the killer was Tonate and we find out that he was selling these bombs when Detective Arme happened to catch him in the act and was killed because of this. From here, things take another weird turn where Apollo takes a leave of absence (while looking like Snake) and everyone's just kind of sad and feel displaced as a result which leads us to the next case which we'll cover next time.
