This is another part of the game that people have a problem understanding just how this investigation works in the actual timeline of Apollo Justice. To be real for a moment, I also have difficulty grasping it as Phoenix explains it as simply a game but it still doesn't make sense how he's taking things from the future into the past for this investigation and they could have done a bit better at explaining just how this investigation actually went down. The game uses the MASON system to cover this all apparently though as we take over as Phoenix fully during this part of the game. I also get to mention the problem I had in the last video here, how Phoenix couldn't come up with suicide as the cause of death for Magnifi was also a strange choice considering it has come up in many cases he worked in previous games. Regardless, we get to see how he took Trucy in as his own daughter, the truth behind the Gramarye downfall at this time, and what became of Zak before his death that actually started this game off.
