Applied Energistics 2 Tutorial #12 - P2P Tunnels (MC 1.7.10)
873ME Networks can serve as a transportation system for non-ME things as well. You can transfer other sorts of power, fluids and even Redstone signals as if two points were next to each other.
This mechanic makes it possible to create really advanced networks, or you could settle with simple but still very useful tunnels with power and water for example.
