4Anyone remember the classic eighties game Arkanoid? It was a hit in the arcades, and there was a version of it on just about every popular home system around at the time. Rather than being just another Breakout clone, Arkanoid added power-ups and, more importantly, monsters which floated around the screen getting in your way.
Arachnoid is, as the name suggests, an Arkanoid clone. However, as the name also suggests, this game is full of spiders, flies and beetles. If your ball hits one of them, it destroys the insect, but flies off in a random direction and gets faster. Not only that, but you also have to contend with blocks that move, blocks that can't be destroyed, and even blocks that you can't see!
With twenty five tough levels, Arachnoid will provide you with hours of fun!
