James Bond for the Atari 2600 is not a great game. Also, what the heck is going on? Why can I only shoot diamonds. Why do scuba men turn into green gooey puddles?
Joust is about as good as an arcade port on the Atari 2600 gets. Controls are perfect, the sound effects are spot on, and the game is still a ton of fun!
Jungle Hunt is another arcade port that is firing on on cylinders on the 2600. If you don't like the 2600 version, you probably don't like the arcade game either.
Kangaroo is also an arcade port. Not as good as Joust and Jungle Hunt, but pretty pretty good! And the opening music gets stuck in your head!
