The book looks at the fonts used in classic arcade games, grouped by font family (Sans means Sans Serif) and overall type. There are also deeper examinations of particular fonts, including the classic Namco/Atari font, and examples of all of a game's font characters. There are screenshots and large grids of the fonts to illustrate.
