The gameplay for this run was recorded almost 10 months before I made this video public because I decided to wait until Galloping Ghost Arcade added the game to its floor so I didn't "spoil" the game for anyone.

By arcade shmup standards, Insector X is one of the more forgiving and friendly games you can play. The powered up weapon covers a huge part of the screen, and the enemy bullets are slow enough to react to in almost all situations. If I do have one complaint - the final boss offers no point gain for clearing, which is a shame since all the other levels have a 100k point bonus for beating. But still, I have a soft spot for the game and it's (arguably better) console port. This run doesn't attempt to show any scoring tactics, as I'm still figuring out which checkpoint would be the best to "milk" for the most point gain. I'll possibly do another replay at that point, as well.
