ARCADE ONE: NEW UPDATE - How to Download, Install & Troubleshoot THE BEZEL PROJECT - 60+ Consoles
Install THOUSANDS of Individual Game Specific Bezels to your Home Arcade with THE BEZEL PROJECT for over 60 different retro consoles/systems!
This video will focus on downloading, installing and troubleshooting The Bezel Project on the Arcade One via Rocketlauncher! The Bezel Project will also work with other home arcades such as the Extreme Home Arcade Megacade and also on a Raspberry Pie and works with Retroarch, Big Box and Hyperspin, so there is important information here for everyone to enjoy, but the video is a step-by-step video for the Arcade One setup.
I will show you where to download the latest version, how best to install it, show all 60+ consoles/systems that it currently supports, give you a taste of some of the pros and cons of it as well as do some trouble shooting and an optional tip/trick that Arcade One owners will want to know about to maximize their current Arcade One setup and the offerings available from The Bezel Project! Enjoy!
IMPORTANT NOTES: This update is not provided through Arcade One, it is an update that I found and did on my own to my Arcade One machine, so please watch the entire video first before downloading and installing to make sure you see everything that The Bezel Project has to offer along with the pros/cons and troubleshooting that you may need to do and if you feel comfortable with the install/download process, then go ahead and rewatch the video and follow the instructions. This video is made for the Arcade One machine, so if you are adding The Bezel Project to a different arcade machine or device, some of this will be different so please keep that in mind. I was not able to get the Atari 5200 bezels to work properly. If you do The Bezel Project download for a system such as NES and the bezels do not load, you may need to open Rocket Launcher and search for the console (example: Nintendo Entertainment System), then click on Settings tab (green gear), then right below it select Bezel, and the top choice where it says Bezel: Enabled - use_global, change this to true, which will allow RL to activate the bezels. This may or may not be turned on depending on when you received your Arcade One. If you need help with this leave a comment and I can post a screenshot or make another video showing this step. Another issue that may occur is one of the Arcade One default MAME bezels may appear such as an old CRT tv bezel. If this occurs go to D:\Arcade\RocketLauncher\Media\Bezels and rename the _Default folder to Default_BAK or something. This should prevent those default bezels from showing up. If it happens in other systems, rename the _Default folder in those as well. Also, if you are looking for the Sega Genesis bezels in The Bezel Project, they are under Mega Drive. Please note to take caution anytime you download or install programs or files from the internet and do so at your own risk.
