Popeye is a 1982 platform game developed by Nintendo and based on the comic strip of the same name created by E. C. Segar. In the game, you play as Popeye and collect hearts thrown by Olive Oyl while being chased by Brutus. You can punch bottles thrown at you, but can only hurt Brutus after eating the one can of spinach present in each level. The game has three screens and no jump button. It was later ported to several consoles and computers.
