Finally starting my Arcade1Up Galaga Countercade Mod! The goal here with this $49 Wal-Mart Cabinet purchase was to mod this as cheaply as possible. I didn't want to go 'all out' on this cabinet but have a cheap quick countercade that was a multicade. With this Mod I'll be using a Raspberry Pi 3B+ and the Scooney Vertical Image. If you haven't checked out the Scooney Vertical Image you should give it a shot! It's a pretty decent Vertical RetroPi Image. In this Part 1 Video we will go over the Removal of the existing Arcade1Up PCB and installation of the Geekstore LCD/HDMI Driver Board and testing the Vertical Image. In Part 2 we will set up our Light Up Marquee and our Buttons and Joystick Controls and Control Deck and clean up the wiring, etc.
