In this video we begin our epic journey through the Dizzy franchise! This first Dizzy game (Dizzy - The Ultimate Cartoon Adventure) was released in 1987. Developed by the Oliver twins and published by Codemasters (a developer and publisher still active today), the game sees you travelling across the land concocting a potion to slay the evil wizard Zaks.

The game is quite different from the future games that followed it, with a little less of a focus on puzzle solving and a little more on slaying enemies that litter each screen. I've always loved the game and find it very atmospheric; hope you enjoy watching!
