ARCANE TRICKSTER Rogue Build Guide: Baldur's Gate 3
19The least popular Rogue subclass, here is an Arcane Trickster build guide for Baldur's Gate 3! This is the most popular Rogue subclass in tabletop Dungeons and Dragons, but it doesn't translate well from DnD to BG3. The mage hand legerdemain does not work properly, although it may get corrected with a patch down the road. This class can still beat Baldur's Gate 3 so there's no worry if you do want to play as this subclass to see what it is all about! There are some unique dialogue options for the arcane trickster that make it a cool class overall, despite being much weaker in BG3. I still think that the Rogue is the weakest class in the game, but the rogue thief giving an extra bonus action can make some classes like the Monk even better. This is a full 11 levels into the arcane trickster and you can take a level of fighter or cleric for armor and shield proficiency if you'd like more survivability. You can get upwards of 37 armor class with this build however using mirror image.
