Today’s Archeage Unchained 101 is all about Locked Crates and Keys by request of several of my viewers.

This is a general overview for the new players and the returning players so when they hear crates they know if its a locked crate or a normal named crate, as one requires a key to open and the other does not.

A lot of people are going to ask if it is “worth” it to open up these locked crates. The problem with the phrase “worth” it is that you have to really dive into the math. Also it is hard to recommend anything that is RNG based. From one gold crate you might get 14 gold and 4 superior glow lunarite, and from the other you might get 16 gold and only 1 superior glow lunarite.
