Are just two case fans enough? Corsair 5000D AirFlow standard setup? Cool enough?
As standard, the Corsair 5000D Airflow comes with just two case fans. Two 120mm AirGuide fans, one on the front for intake and one on the rear for exhaust. On its official site, Corsair claims that these two fans are enough to run your PC on. Seems mad. Can't possibly be true surely?
When I first setup the Corsair 5000D Airflow, I used 12 fans - multiple front intake fans with ML120 Pro RGBs then six more as exhaust over the AIO. https://youtu.be/L2ervXeVk0o
I have now uninstalled most of that with the exception of three fans on the AIO to see how it performed. The results are actually really surprising.

It's worth noting an interesting quirk of this setup was I had to move the AIO to have the tubes at the front, which then partly covered the RAM. Which suuuuuuucks.
But I ran benchmarks on both and played games in both setups to see how it performed.

As you can see the conclusion is that the 5000D will actually run fairly well with the 2 fans installed, which is mad. Though your results may vary depending on various things including your AIO setup.
