So many people get caught up with the legendaries with Borderlands 3. And who wouldn't? They're the strongest weapons in the game and lead to insane builds! But what about the other weapons inside Borderlands 3? Are there other unique weapons that are not legendary but nonetheless can survive in the rigors of Mayhem 3?

In this video, we take a look at Moxxi's Vibra-Pulse, a returning weapon from prior Borderlands games. Its elemental ability makes it ideally suited for Amara. Not only does it chain to enemies, but it also permanently life steals health back to you. Pair this with Amara's elemental health regen ability, and slap on some Terror skills that reduce damage, and you're basically invincible. The gun doesn't do the best damage in the world, but I was incredibly surprised by how viable it was in Slaughter Shaft Mayhem 3 TVHM, arguably the hardest area in the game. In fact, I had minimal legendary gear (class mod and artifact, if I recall correctly). This means that you don't necessarily NEED the best legendary weaons to destroy and have fun in this game.
