Is "The Chomper" Mayhem 3 Viable? | Unique Weapon Test | Borderlands 3
1So many people get caught up with the legendaries in Borderlands 3. And who wouldn't? They're arguably the strongest weapons in the game and lead to insane builds! But what about the other weapons inside Borderlands 3? Are there other unique weapons that are not legendary but nonetheless can survive in the rigors of Mayhem 3?
That's what I aim to find out in this new series: "Will It Slaughter Shaft?" I will take various unique weapons (items with blue text that are not legendaries) into the Slaughter Shaft on TVHM and Mayhem 3, with either neutral or penalizing modifiers. For brevity, I won't do a full round. In all of my prior builds, I have been able to tell straight away if its viable or not.
In this video, we take a look at the Chomper, a unique quest item from the side mission "Demon in the Dark." This wrecked during both my playthroughs, and I always wanted to try it at endgame to see if it's viable, especially because of the success with my Flakker Explosive Amara Build. I was incredibly surprised at how easily this teared through enemies, even Hardened Badasses. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
