AREA MAN LIVES (PCVR) Review & Gameplay - A Narrative Driven Experience
14Area Man Lives VR is a mystery comedy that is narrative heavy, with a few puzzles and several different endings where you have to play through the game several times & try different approaches to get an ideal ending. It has sort of a Firewatch mixed with Twin Peaks vibe to it and the quirky comedy works with excellent writing & good voice acting. Unfortunately, the rest of the gameplay experience is not very good & it is frustrating not being able to skip dialogue and have to sit through the dialogue several times to try to obtain a new ending. I would say wait for a patch, but in the meantime it's a recommended game experience for those willing to put up with a less than ideal experience.
