ArenaNet is REBORN! Returning Game Directors, Engine Upgrades, Alliances, and Expansion News!
1,276This evening, a blog post from Rubi Bayer has revealed some HUGE information about the near future of Guild Wars 2. For a start, some fan-favourite developers and project leads are returning - Josh "Grouch" Davis and the legendary Colin Johanson are back to the company ready for the release of the End of Dragons expansion. In addition to this, several long-awaited features were spoken about - the mythical World vs World ALLIANCES, and even an engine upgrade to DX11 for increased performance! Finally, there was some news about the expansion - End of Dragons is being delayed by a couple of months from late 2021 to early 2022 - an unfortunate update, but in my opinion certainly a good decision as a late product is better than a half-baked one.
