ARK - Auto Decay part 1
New players likely don't know ARK Survival Evolved has an Auto-Decay system most Official Server managers will activate so if a player comes on the server to play one day, or two and then abandons their structures and pets, after a period of time they game will delete their work. It also appears the server managers can adjust how long it takes for the auto-decay system to kick in, but pillars with something attached to reserve an area for construction by a player may not be removed in a timely manner. If this is true, removing a players structures that have been abandon isn't going to open up the spot for other players to build on until the pillars are removed. There is clearly more to this auto-decay system, but those details will be reviewed in another video.
