Ark Shorts | Make Your Gacha Fun Again by Reducing the Sadness
15The Gacha on Ark is a great tame. But Its a emotional wreck. If it gets sad, it wont eat, and wont produce the crystals. We need to introduce fun again into its life, get rid of that sadness
Quick Ark Tip for those Gacha's That Simply will not look at you or eat anything you have kindly gathered for it
The Gacha was introduced on the Extinction map. It can also be found on the Genesis 2 map.
The Gacha roams around in The Under Forest, the deepest area of the Crater Forest, swiping occasionally at rocks, trees and bushes; which they follow with sitting down and eating. They're big and bulky, with relatively good stamina, but, unfortunately, are fairly slow both when walking and running.
The Gacha appears to be a large sloth with crystalline formations on its back.
Gachas prefer Plant Species Y Traps, Snow Owl Pellet (Extinction) , crafted items like walls and foundations (with metal having higher taming effectiveness than stone but normal stone is just as good as crafted items), metal ore, Stone, Berries, then Meat. You will have to time the drop of the item to get it into the path of the gacha and you can drop a stack as the Gacha will pick up the whole stack and eat them continuously until tamed or out of the item. Watch their food meter when traveling long distances and supply it manually.
Feeding Tributes among other "worthless" items such as Oil will severely damage taming effectiveness with zero affinity.
