G'day guys Mennace here with another ARK: Survival Evolved News Update, there is some cool updates on the horizon and I can’t wait to share the info with you.
Since our last major update there have been various bug fixes and performance enhancements. Very soon, if not as we speak, the next patch should be available which has some awesome stuff. The dino that is planned for release will be the terror bird. This feathered carnivore will be highly aggressive and capable of brief flight. Combining this with its speed, the Terror Bird can make large leaps across the land.
To accompany this a grappling hook will be available for players to craft. This new weapon can be used to scale cliffs or buildings and even hook other players and small creatures to the attachment. The anticipated Tribe Alliances will be implemented also; the notes say that they are 100% certain it will make it into the release. And finally Coelacanth will be varying sizes throughout the rivers and oceans.
Still on the horizon is the Giant Beaver, 3 bosses and boss arenas, handcuffs and a second phase of breeding mechanics.
The latest dossier has been revealed for a Sabertooth Salmon. This aquatic carnivore is evasive until attacked, in which it will become aggressive as well as the surrounding fish in its school. Although these cannot be tamed, they can be herded and utilised for their meat which the dossier describes as Prime Fish.
