A platoon of U.S Infantry, nicknamed "Devourer's Devils", are sent into the Ia Drang valley at the eastern foot of the Chu Pong Massif in the central highlands of Vietnam during the U.S-Vietnam War. The platoon consists of a field commander, a JTAC attachment, and four squads - Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Delta - and is supported by air assets.

Day 2:

After fighting through the night Charlie is bruised, battered, and beat. The Creek Bed is reinforced by Alpha as all involved hold against continuous NVA assaults.
