ARMA 3 PHYSX Tactical Demonstration
23EDIT: Rumors are that ARMA 3 Alpha has not incorporated TOH flight models so the information contained in this video may not be accurate concerning that point. However, I do believe that the new PHYSIX engine dynamically changes even the base line ARMA helicopter physics and handling. Still a much better experience than previous releases.....
....I will further say that the Flight Model in DCS is extremely accurate, the FM is ARMA may not be accurate at all, but at the very least things like momentum, weapons ballistics, inertia, is greatly enhanced from previous versions. For instance in FSX, the FM for helicopters may be highly accurate, but the actual sim lacks realistic physics. The enhanced physics engine is what gives a real "sensation of flight" in ARMA 3.
