The battle for Santa Catalina continues as US Army soldiers and infected hordes continue to engage one another in bitter close quarters combat. The fighting has been raging for three hours into the evening as US forces struggle to recapture the lost town. The first wave of troops which entered the town, despite over head close air support, were overrun in a matter of minutes.

One particular platoon, entering the town at 19:00 hours, eliminated zombie threats in brutal street fighting, and eventually pushed the zombies back to the southern road out of town. Here a choke point was established and the remaining zombies in the surrounding area made a final counter-attack, testing the already outnumbered soldiers capabilities and mettle.
