In this quick beginners guide video I showcase how visible you are when you check your map in Arma Reforger at night & answer the question as to whether enemies can see your map flash-light or torch.
The answer is that when you check you map, although you see a flashlight on the map from your perspective or point of view, this isn't visible to enemies unless you have specifically turned your flash light on prior to checking the map.
A best practice would be to always turn off your torch whenever you want to check your map, that way if an enemy did see your light previously, you'll disappear when you check the map.
